Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of Flux, an event signup platform available at onflux.nl and group-specific subdomains, such as example.onflux.nl.
Flux is a registered trade name (handelsnaam) of Tryfe B.V.

1. What Flux does
Flux allows users to browse event and group pages, sign up for events, select ticket or signup types, join eligible groups, receive confirmations, make payments for paid events, and show digital proof for event check-in.
2. Accepting these Terms
By using Flux, signing up for an event, creating or using an account, starting a checkout, or continuing in a signup flow that refers to these Terms, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Flux on behalf of a group, organization, or event organizer, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3. Accounts and identification
Flux uses phone number verification as the primary way to identify users. You may be asked to verify your phone number using a one-time code sent by SMS.
You must provide accurate information, including your name and phone number. You may not use someone else’s phone number, impersonate another person, bypass eligibility checks, or interfere with Flux security measures.
4. Event-specific terms
Some events or signup types may include additional event-specific terms, such as venue rules, cancellation conditions, participation rules, refund terms, or a linked PDF.
By signing up for such an event, you also agree to those event-specific terms. If event-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the event-specific terms apply to the event itself, unless mandatory law says otherwise. These Terms continue to apply to the use of Flux.
5. Eligibility, capacity, and admission
Events may have eligibility requirements, such as group membership, verified email-domain access, selected-group restrictions, ticket type restrictions, or capacity limits.
A signup, payment attempt, or confirmation does not guarantee admission if you do not meet the event requirements or if the organizer has lawful grounds to refuse admission.
Digital tickets or proof shown in Flux may rotate or refresh for security reasons. Screenshots or copied proof may not be accepted at check-in.
6. Payments
Some events are free. Paid events are processed through a payment service provider, currently Mollie B.V., using available payment methods such as iDEAL.
The event price, and any applicable platform or payment fees, will be shown during checkout where required. By completing checkout, you authorize the payment through the selected payment method.
A checkout may expire after approximately 30 minutes. If checkout expires, your spot may be released and you may need to start again, subject to availability.
Flux may block duplicate active checkouts and duplicate signups.
7. Refunds and failed payments
Refunds depend on applicable law, the event page, the event-specific terms, and the organizer’s refund policy.
If payment fails, is cancelled, or expires, your signup may not be completed.
If payment succeeds but capacity is no longer available, Flux or the organizer may reject the signup and start a refund process. Refund timing may depend on Mollie, the selected payment method, banks, and the organizer’s merchant setup.
8. Event changes and cancellation
The organizer is responsible for the event, including the location, programme, capacity, admission, safety, accessibility, cancellation, postponement, and refund handling, unless Flux is expressly identified as the organizer.
Flux may send service messages, such as signup confirmations or payment updates, but this does not make Flux responsible for organizer decisions.
9. Organizer responsibilities
If you are an organizer or group using Flux, you are responsible for:
- providing accurate event, price, capacity, location, eligibility, refund, and cancellation information;
- complying with applicable laws and permits;
- ensuring that your event-specific terms are lawful and clear;
- managing the event, admission, safety, and attendee communication;
- using attendee data only in accordance with applicable privacy law;
- ensuring that content you provide to Flux, such as images, logos, text, or PDFs, may lawfully be used on Flux;
- complying with payment provider requirements if you use paid events.
10. Prohibited use
You may not use Flux to:
- break the law or infringe third-party rights;
- create false or fraudulent signups;
- misuse tickets or digital proof;
- attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt Flux;
- provide unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, harmful, or infringing content;
- bypass security, payment, eligibility, or capacity controls;
- misuse personal data obtained through Flux.
11. Content and intellectual property
Flux, the Flux name, the Flux Butterfly logo, the platform, software, design, and related materials are protected by intellectual property rights. The Flux Butterfly logo is a registered trademark of Tryfe Holding B.V. at the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
Organizers remain responsible for content they provide. By providing content to Flux, organizers allow Tryfe B.V. to host, store, display, process, and publish that content as necessary to operate Flux and promote or display the relevant group or event page.
12. Availability and changes
Flux is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue parts of Flux for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or product reasons.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on Flux.
13. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in the Flux Privacy Statement.
Organizers may also process attendee data for their own purposes. Where relevant, their own privacy information may also apply.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where this is not allowed by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Flux is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, missed events, travel or accommodation costs, loss of data, reputational harm, or damage caused by organizers, venues, attendees, payment providers, or other third parties.
Where Flux is liable, our liability is limited to the amount paid by you through Flux for the event or service giving rise to the claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Organizers remain responsible for their own events, content, refund policies, cancellations, safety, and legal obligations.
15. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Flux if we reasonably believe that you breached these Terms, misused Flux, created a security or legal risk, or used Flux fraudulently or unlawfully.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Disputes will be submitted to court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
